As your Downtown Phoenix Optometrist we’ve got you covered on both ends of the spectrum – unique independent eyewear designers and comprehensive optometric care by a residency trained optometrist! We couldn’t be more excited to welcome in Spring with new styles from ALL our designers as we also implement new technology to take the most advanced maps of the front surface of your eye imaginable! As of May 1st we have resumed eye exams and primary eyecare services!
Today I want to share with you what we are doing to keep you safe while visiting Urban Eyecare.
· General Housekeeping
o Hard surfaces are cleaned hourly with Cavicide hospital grade disinfectant
o We are limiting the number of patients in the store at any point and maintaining social distancing whenever possible
o Upon entering you will be asked to wash your hands or use sanitizer
o We ask that you please wear a mask when entering
o All frames are sanitized with a hydrogen peroxide solution between customers and try ons
o Patients prescreened for COVID before scheduling
o Please stay home or seek medical treatment if you are feeling unwell
· Staff
o All staff and doctors will wear masks at all times
o Hands will be washed between all patient interactions
o Workstations are sanitized hourly
o All staff and doctors will self-monitor their temperatures before returning to work – any persons with a temperature above 99.5 is asked to stay home and seek testing
· Exams
o Exams will be spaced to allow for social distancing and minimize the amount of people in the office at any given time
o We are recommending Optos retinal imaging to reduce the time spent in office
o You will be required to wear a mask throughout your examination
o Sneeze-guards will continue to be used during examinations
